Troubleshooting

This section describes how to resolve some unexpected situations. We sincerely wish you that this does not happen to you.

Forgot root password

You need to insert special phrase into root-password file to reset it and restart ginc-radar. Follow the instructions and everything will be fine.

  1. Insert reset phrase with

    echo -n "reset-me" > /var/lib/ginc-radar/app/root-password

  2. Restart Ginc Radar Application

    ginc-radar-ctl restart app

  3. Wait for initialization and get updated password

    cat /var/lib/ginc-radar/app/root-password
